316 and 316L stainless steel
316 and 316L stainless steel all with molybdenum(Mo) components. The percentage of Mo in 316L is a little higher. For the Mo matter, the performance is general better than 310 and 304 stainless steel. Under high temperature, when concentration of sulphuric acid is lower than 15% or higher than 85%, 316 stainless steel can be used widely. And the anti-chloride is better than others.
The carbon component percentage max is 0.03 in 316L stainless steel, so it is used cannot be annealing after welding and need best anti-corrosion application.
